Ah this is lovely promotion from Westfield for their new Stratford mall which is set to open in 2 weeks time. They’ve created a viral video (hasn’t gone viral yet but give it 24 hours) that focuses on 100 years of East London style in 100 seconds. Sept 13th 1911 – Sept 13th 2011 – the day and month mean nothing in terms of style but that’s the day when Europe’s largest mall opens. Watch the video closely, it’s nice watching how the styles change over the years and a lot of fashion does recycle itself. The dance and music changes work well too. The video was shot over 4 days and directed by Jake Lunt. The editing is on point, peep it on the reverse.
